Judge Pogue attended Tuskegee University is now the Senior Pastor of the New Greater First Baptist Church of Thomasville, AL. He is also the elected chairman of the Perry County Democratic Executive Committee.

Our Perry County Probate Court is responsible for estates, wills, deeds and mortgages, marriages*, adoptions, conservatorships, guardianships, mental commitments, driver's and business licenses, hunting, fishing, and boating licenses, and elections.
The staff of the Perry County Probate Court is dedicated to serving the citizens of Perry County, and performing services in an efficient, polite, and swift manner. We strive to be fair and impartial, and to provide a logical and coherent resolution to all judicial matters. The Probate Court is also committed to protecting and upholding the rights and liberties, that are afforded to you within the United States Constitution.
