Members: Albert Turner and Barbara Howze

This committee will develop the operation rules of this term (November 2024- November 2026) of the Perry County Commission. This committee will also draft any local legislation that will be presented to the Alabama Legislature to be enacted into law for Perry County. In addition to setting the by-weekly agenda of the commission.

Members: Anthony Long and Carlton Lewis

 This committee will be responsible for presenting a balanced budget to be adopted by the commission at the beginning of each fiscal year. It will also recommend any amendments to the budget.

Members: Barbara Howze and Anthony Long

This committee will set the paving priority of the highway department. It will also recommend the order for the mid-county road projects and Rebuild Alabama road projects.

Members: Carlton Lewis and Barbara Howze

This committee will be in charge of maintenance and upkeep of all county buildings. It will oversee the construction of the new highway department shop and the renovations to the Richard Avery Courthouse Annex Courthouse.

Members: Anthony Long and Albert Turner

This committee will oversee all contracts executed on behalf of the County as well as interview all potential employees of the county.

Members: Brett Harrison and Albert Turner

This committee will work with the sheriff to provide assistance to maintain the maintenance at the jail and equip the department with the necessities to keep Perry County safe.

Members: Carlton Lewis and Barbara Howze

This committee will be in charge of presenting an equitable district map for the 2026 county elections.
